Dreams imagined in Québec, for little ones and those who love them

Bedtime is more than a simple routine. It is a ritual—the whispered stories, the little secrets shared between yawns, and the memories woven together, night after night.

It was from this ritual, and from my two children, that Candide Living was born. I founded this family-run brand in Québec with a simple belief: children’s bedding deserves the same care, attention to detail and elegance as their parents’ bedding.

Each pattern is designed in Québec in collaboration with a local artist. Every piece is then woven and crafted in Guimarães, northern Portugal, a region renowned worldwide for its textile heritage. We use double-layer OEKO-TEX certified cotton muslin that is lightweight and breathable, becoming even softer with every wash.

Calming hues, poetic patterns and exceptional fabrics come together in bedding that sparks children’s imaginations while blending naturally into the aesthetic of the home.

Because a child’s bedroom can be both a place where imagination comes to life and a space parents love to return to. A little world of their own, created with care, right here in Québec.

Most parents know that it can be difficult to decorate a child's room in style, especially if you want the decor to stand the test of time. The idea here is to unite a timeless design with durable materials to integrate harmoniously into the child's room, but also throughout the house.

Designing high quality, timeless design bedding is at the heart of everything we do and we want our products to be used for many years to come. By focusing on durable and timeless products, we want to increase their lifespan and thus keep them out of landfills for as long as possible.

Cotton muslin

At candide Living, we want to make bedtime magical by offering fun, yet restful bedding with soothing colors and soft materials. In order to create a cozy bed, our products are made from double-layer woven cotton muslin to offer children the same comfort they knew as a baby.

Our factory

Candide Living products are woven and assembled in Guimarães in northern Portugal, a region with a long textile tradition, know-how and craftsmanship recognized worldwide. Our production plant has been carefully selected for its desire to put the Earth and its people first.
